What You’ll Do:
- Tax Assistance Interns: Help taxpayers navigate the complexities of tax laws and regulations
- Legal Interns: Gain valuable experience in legal research and support
- Lottery Interns: Assist in marketing strategies, promotional activities and events
- Communications Interns: Create engaging content for the Department’s social media platforms
- Customer Experience Interns: Create correspondence with taxpayers and staff to ensure exceptional customer service

Details:
- Paid Internship
- Hours: Part-time (up to 20 hours per week during the semester) and full-time (approximately 40 hours per week during summer or semester break).
- Location: Interns will attend onboarding and initial training at the Hoover State Office Building, located on the State Capitol Complex in Des Moines. Remote work options may be available following the training period, based on specific qualifications.
