We examined your tax return and something was not correct, that is why you owe more money. You can pay in full or set up a payment plan by using EasyPay Iowa. If you don’t think this is correct, call the number on your letter to speak with a tax examiner.
Unlike an SSN or FEIN, your IDR ID is generated by the Iowa Department of Revenue. It is assigned to taxpayers and businesses with accounts in the Department's systems. Your IDR ID is unique to you; think of it as your or the entity's identification number for the Department. This number can also be used to sign up for GovConnectIowa during the verification process.
