A β€œbrand” is defined as each alcoholic liquor, wine, or beer packaged and sold under a separate name, class, type or kind designation (wine appellation of origin, wine vintage date, alcoholic liquor age, percentage of alcohol, etc.)

Examples:

  • Distillery 1’s Whiskey (81 proof); Distillery 1’s 101 Proof
  • Winery A’s 2018 Pinot Grigio; Winery A’s 2020 Pinot Grigio
  • Brewery Z’s IPA; Brewery Z’s Lager
