Tapping Accessories

An industry member can sell carbon dioxide and tapping accessories used in dispensing wine or beer from kegs or bulk packaging. An industry member cannot sell, give, or otherwise provide tapping accessories used to dispense alcoholic liquor.

Tapping accessories include, but are not limited to:

  • Faucets
  • Rods
  • Vents
  • Taps
  • Hoses
  • Washers
  • Couplings
  • Gas gauges
  • Vent tongues
  • Shanks
  • Check valves
  • “Picnic” pumps

The cost of tapping accessories sold to a retailer cannot be less than the industry member’s laid-in cost for the accessories.
